A thoughtful plan is what turns a yard into an outdoor space you actually use. It starts on paper, long before the first shovel.
Landscape Design by Hometown Landscape in Burtonsville, MD
Landscape design is the planning stage, the blueprint for your whole property before any planting or stonework begins. Our designers walk your site, learn how you want to live outdoors, and turn it into a clear plan: layouts, grading, sight lines, and how each area flows into the next. Hometown Landscape has been designing outdoor spaces across Maryland since 1997.
A good design decides where the patio, beds, walkways, and gathering spaces belong, and in what order to build them, so the project stays on budget and nothing gets torn out later. We handle full-property master plans and phased designs you can build over several seasons.
Design is the first step. From there our team brings it to life, from the plant palette in our planting design to the full build through our landscaping and hardscaping services. Available across Burtonsville, MD and the areas we serve.
How Our Landscape Design Works
We walk the property, note the sun, shade, and drainage, and learn how you want to use it.
We map the beds, trees, hardscape, and focal points into a clear plan.
We choose the plants and materials and refine the plan with you.
We finalize the design so our crew can install it as drawn.
